  1. Thank you for applying to InfiNet, otherwise known as the International
  2. Freedom of Information Network, one of the longest-running networks around.
  3.  
  4. InfiNet's application process is quite simple.  Fill out this form, then
  5. rename it to something associated with your bbs (for example - if your BBS
  6. is called 'The Barber Shop', rename it to BARBSHOP.APP).  Then, choose one of
  7. the following methods to submit your application:
  8.  
  9.    1) Crashmail/Netmail it to InfiNet 69:1/0 or FidoNet 1:380/666.1
  10.    2) Mail it to Internet address Psyber@369-23-2.Sunshine.Com
  11. or 3) Call 1-609-637-9430, login as INFINET and password DEATH
  12.       and use the [/U]pload function to send in the file.
  13.  
  14. Currently, InfiNet is accepting ALL applicants.  The only requirement is that
  15. you read the network policies (INFINPOL.TXT and INFINSET.TXT), and agree to
  16. follow them.  Once your node has been added to the nodelist, you will be
  17. crashmailed the starter kit, which includes your node number, the node number
  18. of your hub, current polling instructions, and the current InfiNet InfoPack.
  19.  
  20. NOTE: IF YOUR SYSTEM IS NOT CRASHMAIL CAPABLE, PLEASE MAKE US AWARE OF THIS
  21.       FACT!  99% of the more important or emergency communications in this
  22.       network are conducted using netmail or crashmail.  If your system does
  23.       not use a mailer at LEAST during the International Mail Hour, you may
  24.       very well encounter problems within this network.
